This is an excellent opportunity to work in a growing Agile environment. The ideal candidate must have strong skills in understanding Agile methods and protocols and at the same time be able to put their creative hat in a problem-solving environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and IT leadership team is key to be successful in this role. Job Description: 1. This role manages the overall test effort 2. This includes quality and test advocacy, resource planning and management, and resolution of issues that impede the test effort. 3. Strong person technically and also someone inclined toward management. 4. Need to work closely with the Customer 5. QA person need to have excellent hands on experience with testing, QA processes, techniques, and QA methodology, automation skills. 6. QA person should have experience with front end app and backend testing skills. 7. This person is comfortable to work in a team environment and minimal supervision. 8. QA person may need to work with other team members in onshore and offshore – Java, DB development, and BSA group 9. QA person is comfortable with testing back end data set up, data validation. And comfortable in understanding data design, technical design documents. 10. Provides support during the system implementation. 11. May need work with project teams with regard to testing tasks and expected to provide good quality product from testing tasks assigned. Qualifications: 1. BA/BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background is required. 2. Overall 8+ years of experience in testing 3. 4 or more years of must have experience in SQL Server, Oracle and Mongo DB testing 4. Experienced in ETL testing 5. Experienced in SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS) package testing 6. Experience with database procedure testing is required. 7. Experience with excellent backend testing skills is required. 8. Experience with Soap UI Web services testing will be a added advantage 9. Experience with software testing process, methods, and techniques. 10. Experience with data files conversion is needed. 11. Experience with Java, web sphere app functionality testing. 12. Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies. 13. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. 14. Experience in the health care insurance industries desired.
