Position : *Python/Julia developer* Location : Chicago IL – *can be 100% remote * Duration : 6+ months contract Job Description We are looking for a proficient *Python/Julia developer* to help us in our journey to modernize schedule development process. Your primary focus will be to work with large datasets to analyze and solve complex optimization problems. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will *coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the cloud using AWS services*. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important. Requirements: • *Expertise in Julia, Python and SQL.* • *Exposure to AWS Cloud and Deployment services.* • Knowledge and skills of using *Linux environment.* • Knowledge and skills of using *Git*. Responsibilities: • Work with large and complex data sets. • Solve complex analysis problems by applying advanced analytical methods. • Conduct end-to-end analysis, including data gathering and processing for ongoing deliverables • Build quick prototypes to check feasibility and present them to the business teams to demonstrate business value. • Design, test, benchmark, and track the performance of analytic solutions over time. • Work with teams across data organization to continually improve results by validating observations and insights and refining/enriching the data as needed. • Work with partners in the Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Operations teams to operationalize and integrate models.
