Security Admin Texas TDI (Dept of Insurance) ONsite in Austin but you can send if they can relocate $55hr ctc Max Job Description Onsite: All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Department of Insurance and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Department of Insurance will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s). The contracted staff member will assist the Cybersecurity Office with installing, configuring and maintaining security software and SaaS solutions such as vulnerability management tools and web vulnerability management tools. Duties will also include monitoring security events, analyzing and responding to reported phishing emails, reviewing malware alerts, conducting risk assessments, security policy and procedure development, and contract language reviews and evaluations to ensure vendor compliance with state and federal standards. II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements:(Must Have) 5 Years Required Experience Developing security policies, standards, and guidelines using a known framework. 5 Years Required Experience Updating security language for agency contracts. 5 Years Required Experience Monitoring security logs and events and alerting on suspicious events. 5 Years Required Experience Conducting security risk assessments and documenting risk assessment processes.
