This opening has an ecommerce focus. This is a newer area, so there are not
as many guidelines and processes in place. The ideal candidate will need to
be flexible and adaptable as the team builds on their strategy and ways of
working. The teams needs someone who can jump in and isn't afraid of a lack
of process. This level 2 role differs from a level 1 role in that they will
play a bigger role in strategy and not just execution. They will be joining
in higher level conversations.

*Job Description:*

Responsible for performing all activities associated with planning and
execution of email and mobile messaging. This role will work closely with
Campaign Management and 84.51 to activate digital communications with a
heavy emphasis on personalized and dynamic content and refined customer
segments.



*Minimum Qualifications:*

• 3+ years’ hands-on experience in outbound e-mail marketing

• Thorough knowledge of email, push notifications and SMS/MMS including
channel regulations; thorough knowledge of CAN SPAM Act required

• Must have strong workflow management experience and ability to balance
multiple projects with tight timelines

• Experience using Adobe Analytics

• Exceptional communication and account management skills

• Must be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail



*Desired Previous Experience:*

• Experience working on complex email campaigns

• Experience using marketing cloud solution (e.g. SalesForce)

• Digital communications experience with multi-channel retailer preferred

• Success working in fast-paced environment with ability to identify
resources needed and reprioritize project tasks while meeting deadlines and
goal

*Key Responsibilities:*

   - Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including but not
   limited to, drafting creative briefs, testing, QA, and campaign performance
   - Work with Digital Communications Manager (Planning and Execution) to
   schedule all email and mobile messaging
   - Schedule mobile messaging marketing activities
   - Work with Campaign Managers on creative briefs using industry best
   practices and learnings from Kroger’s email performance
   - Utilize various workflow management systems to approve and deliver all
   necessary assets to Digital Communications Developers for coding
   - Interface with targeting teams to ensure proper lists and validate
   audience size
   - Serve as ongoing resource for Kroger and 84.51 Campaign Managers and
   Creative Services to ensure optimal output and efficient processes
   - Use data and insights to evaluate effectiveness of digital
   communications
   - Champion new ideas to help keep pace with rapidly changing digital
   communications and ecommerce space; educate stakeholders on digital
   communications best practices and processes
