Please go through the below requirement and let me know if you are interested in this opportunity !! *Lead Full Stack Java Developer* RGA Remote Update on this role – Must be US Citizen, GC, GC EAD, H4 EAD, or TN and open to converting after 12 months. *TOP 3 Skills:* Java, JavaScript (specifically NodeJS), AWS experience – mostly backend with a little front end This is a Lead Software Engineer role (will be a technical team lead) on one of my two dev teams. Full-stack Agile Java teams (on and offshore). Our digital products are all cloud-native (AWS). *Team:* Support the products that they build. There is rotating support schedule. Knowledge of micro-services, AWS/cloud, Lambdas (AWS component)/JavaScript are more important. NodeJS would be ideal on the JavaScript front. React experience would also be nice but not mandatory. We use Terraform and Jenkins with all of our code deployments and use TFS but moving to GitHub for code repos - It’s not essential, but it’s a nice to have PostgreSQL are the databases we use on AWS. Cloud experience (or a willingness and aptitude to learn it is very important...doesn’t have to be AWS) We use Terraform to deploy our code to AWS. Our base applications are written in Java and Groovy. We run them in Docker containers on AWS. Currently, much of our development is in JavaScript (NodeJS) because we are using a lot of AWS Lambdas so current JavaScript experience is very important. 85% back-end as most of our transactions are via API. We do have a small amount of UX/front-end but not much today. We aren’t really at a point where we are doing real CI/CD...we have a monthly release cycle with 2-week sprints. We aspire to get to true CI/CD but it will take some time. *Day to Day:* Strong communication skills – they will be working closely with a shared architect and will take the designs to the engineers. A lot of customer interactions as well. *50% leadership with architecture, 50% hands on coding. * Looking for someone that is a good culture fit. I don’t like to micromanage so self-directed/self-starter who can work independently is important. Have an opinion but don’t be arrogant. Desire to help us all be better.
