support • Working knowledge of database design, SQL, ETL, LifeCycle Services, Azure DevOps, RSAT and testing methodologies • Experience writing technical specifications, design documents, and test plans • Strong understanding of SDLC and best practices • Experience in designing and automating scalable processes for an enterprise • At least 1 year experience working with global finance and accounting organizations, familiarity with accounting practices • Knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes, such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Travel & Expenses, Accounting Close, Fixed creatively and outside of the box *Responsibilities*The Dynamics 365 F&O Engineer will be responsible for system administration of the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (formerly known as AX) and several other financial applications, development and review of code, integrations, creation of reports, unit and integrations testing, release management • The role also includes proactive support services, issue resolution, and implementation of enhancements • The role is based in Fort Worth and in office at least three days per week to facilitate strong collaboration • Primary initiative is the planning, developing and deployment of new capabilities to improve the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations application and related interfaces and data • Collaborate cross-functionally across business liaison teams and technical teams, including architecture, infrastructure, engineering, application development and database teams, to research and validate requirements, and provide solutions that meet overall organizational goals • Closely follow Microsoft’s roadmap and make sure that we are taking advantage of the full potential of the platform • Adhere to the SDLC and provide SOX evidence as required • Assess and communicate technical risks • Maintain strong Microsoft support relationships • Implement strategies to allow access to the Dynamics data (BYODB, Dataverse, data lakes, etc.) • Follow industry trends and be involved in the greater Dynamics community • Provide root cause analysis and resolve performance issues and outages in the platform • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations • Work closely with the business liaisons to understand the needs and translate them into technical requirements • Assess development estimates and review developer code, architecture, and infrastructure plans • Perform code deployments • Integrate with other applications, such as Concur, Coupa, Denodo and Tymetrix • Participate in security, scalability, and infrastructure activities • Ability to embrace a complex set of systems, facilitate and drive process reengineering workshops, capture and document ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ process flow materials • Maintain excellent communication regarding project status and priorities with project sponsors, driving planning and tracking of tasks, schedule, resources, dependencies, and success criteria • Work directly with customers to troubleshoot issues that are escalated • Host training for new features • Create and maintain proper technical documentation *Qualifications* • Dynamics 365 Implementation experience on more than one engagement • Exposure to multiple D365 modules in Finance and Supply Chain • Solid understanding of D365 master data and the tools to migrate
