thank you for your reply. I am doing that in the method named getToneToRing(data). it is called in the code, but i did not include the method code. i can get the result it returns, but it returns one before I have a chance to pick any of them. Its like the setResult() method is being called before the RingtonePicker dialog is displayed to the screen.
