okay, one solution is to do something like this:
String path = Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory
().getAbsolutePath()
+ "/dcim/Camera/" + [value of DISPLAY_NAME column for
this image];
and then do a new File(path).length()
but I'm not sure if that path value is portable between Android
devices.
