I doubt that guide is going to help him out in this matter. Foor what it is worth, in Anndroid 1.5, the app size is listed in addition to the data size (of course I cannot remember if this is the case for Android 1.0/1.1 as well) and for the calculator it is 84 KB in size and 4KB of data. So it sounds like yours is only 20 KB more in size.
