There might be some confusion in what should appear in the list:

ADT 0.8 has 2 features (that will show up in Eclipse): ADT and Editors.
ADT 0.9 has 2 features: DDMS and ADT.

You need to uninstall Editors from 0.8 when upgrading to 0.9
