A number of previous posts imply that attempts to apply bespoke image processing on a Camera preview are hamstrung by a buggy API and will in any event run extremely slowly due to the need to manually decode the preview buffer.
Can anyone comment on whether it is possible to use the video recorder as an alternative means of achieving this?
