This came up a year ago, but nobody replied to the original author, so
I'm wondering if anybody found a work-around.

In a nutshell: Setting android:Theme.Light in the manifest produces
tabs that are unreadable. The tabs are such a light color that they
almost disappear against the background, and the text of unselected
tabs is also white, making it completely unreadable.

Is there any work-around? Should I file a bug?
