I take and I take and I take...Thank you list!

We have a splash screen we put up to cover some initialization on first run.

When we are brought front after being backgrounded, we notice this
(because our application object is not recreated) and we transfer
control from the onCreate of the splash to the last visible activity
(which we keep in a static variable). So there is no splash.

All of our activities are:

  android:theme="@android:style/Theme.Black.NoTitleBar.Fullscreen"

On 1.0, 1.1 this works fine.

On 1.5, when we get to the restarted activity, it is pushed down the
width of the status/notification bar (which is a black area) and the
track ball on the G1 can wiggle the entire screen up and down by that
amount. It seems some measuring has been short-circuited, or the
status bar was once GONE but is now INVISIBLE, or something.

What has changed and is there a workaround?

Thanks
