I'm porting an app of mine to work better with API 1.5, and I'm having problems with the layout files where I'm using an AutoCompleteTextView (and, naturally, MultiAutoCompleteTextView). Whenever I have them present in a layout, the graphical representation of the layout disappears, and "NullPointerException: null" replaces it.
Is there any way I can view a widget such as this in the Eclipse editor?
