Hi, David, I met the same problem in my android 1.5 build. Just as you said, I cannot find /system/etc/vold.conf at all. Could you tell me how to put it into system.img? I tried to copy development/data/etc/vold.conf to out/target/product/generic/system/etc/vold.conf, and make system.img again, but it doesn't work.
