I am writing a portion of an app that searches the marketplace for
apps that meet a certain criteria. However, I wanted to know what's
the default Google way of handling generic searches on marketplace.
Google seems to have them in a random order. For example, search on
"Ring". The following order is returned and not in any order sequence.
I have included ratings, stars and downloads to help clarify my point.
Does anyone have any information on the returned list order? Here is
my sample:

1. Ring For Service - 2 Ratings - 3 Stars - <
50 Downloads
2. Page Ring - 39 Ratings - 4.5 Stars -
100-500 Downloads
3. Face of Ring - 44 Ratings - 4 Stars -
1,000 - 5,000 Downloads
4. Ring Toggle - 804 Ratings - 4.5 Stars -
50,000 - 250 Downloads
5. Apofa SMS (Lite) - 24 Ratings - 2.5 Stars - 1,000
- 5,000 Downloads.
6. GPS - a2b ~ Trial - 18 Ratings - 4 Stars - 500 -
1,000 Downloads
7. AstroClock Lite - 87 Ratings - 3 Stars - 5,000 -
10,000 Dowloads.
8. RingMe - 9 Ratings - 3 Stars - 50-100
