Make sure that in your Eclipse environment you don't have an error. I
assume that you still have somewhere a problem, that's why the APK
file is not created.
The resource.ap_ is a compressed file which has the resources of your
application. Execute the following command
unzip resource.ap_ (on linux or MAC)
and you should see the following files/folders
res/
AndroidManifest.xml
resources.arsc
--
