I am consuming SOAP web service in android.
like this ....

SoapObject request = new SoapObject(NAMESPACE, METHOD_NAME);

SoapSerializationEnvelope(SoapEnvelope.VER11);
envelope.setOutputSoapObject(request);
AndroidHttpTransport androidHttpTransport = new
AndroidHttpTransport(URL);

i am getting the response in different (Unknown ) format
this is the response i got form the server ..
getRatingResponse
{
return=ContestInfo{item=anyType{name=Ankitha; totalimages=2;
rating=2.5; }; item=anyType{name=Anushka; totalimages=4; rating=9.5;
};
regarding this any body help me how to parse this response.....
