As you can see, it also uses a couple of custom styles, that can be found here: http://android.git.kernel.org/?p=platform/frameworks/base.git;a=blob;f=core/res/res/values/styles.xml;h=d7b654e49809cb97a35682754b1394af5c8bc88b;hb=HEAD#l318 The background may be a private drawable (@android:drawable/ edit_text), so either you have to copy it into your project, or use the existing EditText class and swap it with the existing TextView class as I suggested above.
