Hello, 1.5sdk actually doesn't support the Arabic (i18n). What is actually the bestpractise to include Arabic in a new application or prepare the future for it ?
I have two scenario that I would to satisfy: 1. auto language by using the phone settings describe there : http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/resources/resources-i18n.html drawable-ar/ values-ar/ ... Is it the right way for arabic support ? 2. include support in an application by allowing direct language switching in the application like with link : English | Français | Deutsch | Italiano | Español | Português | 日本語 | عربي | 中文 | Русский ... Direct language switching is currently not supported. (only auto language by using phone settings). Right ? GLOBAL QUESTION FOR EVERY LANGUAGE : Does anybody have a solution? I found the following information : https://sites.google.com/a/ut.utm.edu/arabic-android/downloads But, forcing the user to change their rom is currently not a solution I can expect. Any suggestions ? Experiences ?
