Ah: I didn't notice a bt pairing alert in the background. I entered '0000' and I get NMEA streaming to my screen. Amazing! Now I have IO capability. For the record I have a HTC Magic, Vodafone branded, firmware 1.5, kernel 2.6.27-00393-g6607056, build CRC1.
