I've had unlockable trial versions of software and versions which were crippled demos. The crackers eventually broke or created keygens for the unlockable versions. But they never broke the crippled demo version because they would have had to pay for a full version and that is definitely something they won't do. IOW, don't do unlockable trial versions.
