I develop in Windows, Linux (SUSE 11.0), Parallels, and VirtualBox.
The worst experience I have had is with VirtualBox. It seemed to crash
on me quite often and I had trouble synching up my G1 with the
VirtualBox environment after installing the USB driver. My guess is
that I'm doing something wrong in the synching process, but I would
say if you are not an expert with Linux & Windows, you (or your Linux
expert :)) might experience some frustrations. I love using Linux and
VirtualBox for most other things and just wish that I could get it
more stable with Android development. We have had issues with dual-
monitors on the Linux side which could also be causing some VirtualBox
problems. Good luck.DR
