Hello, Is it possible for an app to listen in on notifications, ie. receive announcements of everything that gets put in the notification drop- down box. I've looked through the API but can't find anything. I can see how this feature would be a major privacy hole (but there could be a 'privilege' to allow it).
The reason for asking is because I'd like to write an app which 'pushes' all the updates to small app running on a network. The use case sounds like this: Often my phone isn't within arms reach (reception problems in house), and I'd like a little tray app on my PC to 'mirror' the current notifications on my phone. Therefore I could see when I've received a text, phone call etc.. It'd popup a bubble showing similar messages to the top-bar in android. I'm (almost) willing to edit the framework to achieve this (I have an ADP). I think it could be very useful feature.
