Hi How can I read the CID (Card Identification register) of an SD card with Java or C-Code in an Android phone? I tried "cat /sys/class/mmc_host/mmc1/mmc1:*/cid" but at least on the Samsung I7500 Galaxy it does not return the CID of the SD card because it is always the same number with different SD cards.
