I'm interested in reference material that will cover how to extended the Sensor Manager to support a new sensor and what low level hardware specific sources need to be changed.
I'm able to read the new sensor's data via the I2C interface, next I would like to enable Android applications to access this new sensor via the Sensor Manager. What android framework and kernel sources need to be changed to accomplish this?
