Hello all, I am writing an app to generate an SMS notification in the notification bar. I would like to run this app in an emulator(only one instance). I am using the sendTextMessage(devicePhoneNo,null,"dummy message", sentPI,deliveredPI) where devicePhoneNo is like the fake number 15555215135. I am able to see the SMS Sent message but unable to see anything in the notification bar.
I do have SMS_SEND and SMS_RECEIVE in my manifest file. Please let me know if I am missing anything here. Your help is highly appreciated.
