Evening fellow androiders, I have a weird problem here. In the previous version of my app on the market, I have an icon in "all prorgams" that starts up my config screen for my widget. In my new version I have done away with this icon, and you get to configure it from the actual widget (yay).
The problem is the automatic upgrade, that keeps your settings, doesn't get rid of this icon in "all programs". So after upgrading you are left with an icon that does nothing but give an error when pressed. How can I tell the app store, I assume in my manifest file, that it needs to do a full uninstall and reinstall rather than an in place upgrade? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
