Thanks for the reply, but this didn't seem to work for me on either the Magic or Hero when I tried partial wake locks (you mentioned trying on ADP1, ie a G1 - have you tried it on any other handsets?)
It has worked in the past without any requirement on a wake lock as well, so I believe something must have changed recently to cause this.
