Given the changes to Android Manifest and other sections to support different resolution devices I'm pretty sure Google will make a release. If you want to get a feel for what may be in it feel free to pull down the SDKs I compiled from the donut tree in the open source repo from http://andappstore.com/AndroidApplications/sdk/
