I'm using: Settings.Secure.getString(getContentResolver(), Settings.Secure.ANDROID_ID)
as a unique id for the phone. It doesn't require any additional permissions and seems to be unique. Someone correct me if I'm wrong... -John Coryat "What Zip?"
