Again, this code is using PRIVATE APIs. As we've said repeatedly, doing so is not safe, and you can expect your code to break in various ways as a result. For example, there are no requirements for device manufacturers to maintain compatibility with all bazillion and a half private implemention functions in the system, so they are free to change these things as they want. And the platform may change them as it wants. And there are often no tests performed to ensure such APIs continue to work, since the more important thing is that the end-user functionality works.
