Hello all, I have been looking for a way to update a widget asynchronously, for example, when the phone receives a text message. I have a broadcast receiver set up with code that runs upon receiving a message. I also have an AppWidgetProvider that is set up and running. It seems like the *only* way a widget can be updated is upon its interval, or when the user interacts with it.
