Not true.  Android is not a "gphone."  More and more devices will ship
without requiring the user to sign in to a Google account, and even for ones
that do there is no guarantee that is actually the user's preferred (or even
used at all) e-mail account.

The IMEI and phone number only apply if the device is a phone.  At some
point there will be android devices that aren't.

I think at some point it would be nice to have platform support for a user
to supply this information once for applications to retrieve, but until then
I don't think you should make these kinds of assumptions about the
environment you are in.
