I updated my Dev Phone to 1.6 using the firmware from HTC's web site: http://developer.htc.com/adp.html
It sort of works, but it does crash with distressing frequency in "android.process.acore". You may want to hold off on upgrading from 1.5 to 1.6 unless you really need it. Does anybody know of a workaround for these crashes? Is there something that triggers it? Where can we report this so that HTC knows about it and can release a fixed 1.6.1 soon? There is no feedback or bug tracking on the HTC developer pages.
