Dianne is there any chance that such threading changes would affect the playback of media in a VideoView? I've noticed that since 1.6, when I'm on a low-bandwidth connection (e.g., EDGE) videos being loaded over HTTP start playing, but then pause until the file is pretty much completely downloaded, at which point playback continues. Code is pretty straightforward:
