Hi, Accessing servers on the internet within the emulator in our corporate environment is impossible.
We can set an http-proxy for the emulator, but the DNS resolution is still based on the DNS servers configured on the emulator host. In our environment, workstations are connected to DNS servers which resolve only internal addresses. All connections to external servers HAVE to go through a http proxy with authenticated connection. The "work-around" of using numbered IP is not relevant : servers virtual hosts would not be resolved, and our proxy does not authorize access to numbered IP hosts for security reasons (this would be considered as an attempt of working around urls filtering). Does anyone have an idea of a real work-around or are there plans to get this fixed in future SDK releases ?
