Hi, In 1.6,I also try to play stream through setDataSource(http:// xxxxxxxxxxx/xxxx.mp3), but also it return IOException: prepare failed, status=0x1. If set the url into windows media player, it can play correctly, I wanna know your problem whether be resolved? If yes, can u tell me the solution,thanks very much.
