If you do not need ot use 1.6 or 2.0 feature than you should upgrade to 1.6 so that your screen layouts and etc are correct on WVGA devices etc..
which means after you downlaod the sdk use the new 2.0 downloader via eclipse adt 0.9.4 There is a post on the developer blog about switching to 1.6 screen sizes that gives you the run down on what to change..
