I am sorry it is just a typo. It actually is fine in the code. Ok, I wanna extend the question a little bit. Assuming my code is working fine (possibly forced, from Netbeans) and assuming <receiver> requires a BroadcastReceiver, is PhoneStateListener a BroadcastReceiver? I check the sdk and didn't see anything that implies an inheritance though.
