Hi, Following other threads - I'm trying to get a unique device ID from the device. I tried this:
String ID = Settings.Secure.getString(context.getContentResolver(), android.provider.Settings.Secure.ANDROID_ID); but this returns null when running on my G1. Is it supposed to be returning a valid number, or am I accessing it wrong? I don't want to use the telephony device ID because that requires more permissions.
