I also have the same issue described by Mark. I can call my web service using KSOAP2 when using my WiFi network, but when I try to use it through my phone's internet plan, it times out. I've been trying to find a solution for days. I've tried simple HttpGet and still get timeouts... I'm suspecting it could be proxy or APN, but I still have no luck.. BTW, I can reach the WS ftest page and use it from the browser with no problem.... I'd appreciate anyone's help on this
