I spent some time a month back looking for this and didn't get
anywhere.  I'm pretty sure (but of course I've been wrong many times)
that replicating what you see
on the GMap's browser features is not going to be possible on the
Android.  I'm not sure rendering works the same.  What I did was just
simply mapped an Intent
to each marker and when someone clicked on a marker the intent was
opened.  I didn't love it but I just didn't find another way.  If you
need any assistance with
that let me know...
