Wondering if someone can fill me in on how to best approach this.. I have a background image that I lay various elements imageviews and textviews.
Since the new devices obviously have new resolutions I'm trying to rework my layouts but I'm stumped. Here's the first few lines. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/ android" android:background="@drawable/table2" android:orientation="vertical" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:id="@+id/ RelativeTableLayout"> <ImageView android:layout_width="59dip" android:layout_height="59dip" android:layout_marginLeft="11px" android:layout_marginTop="17px" android:id="@+id/ImageView1"/> <ImageView android:layout_toRightOf="@+id/ImageView1" android:layout_marginTop="17dip" android:layout_width="59dip" android:layout_height="59dip" android:id="@+id/ImageView2"/> etc... So I got the proper aligment in the 1.5 emulator, but when I move to a high resolution for testing it doesn't line up. I was under the impression DIP would scale automatically and match my background, but I guess I'm missing something.
