True, but I'm not really building an app... I'm building a thing that's probably closer to an app framework. Basically the client can just dump in their content, change a few settings and churn out a "new app". I guess what I meant is that in the future I won't have full control over what the HTML looks like and it'd be nice if I could allow them to use the same code as they're currently using for their iPhone app.
That said, I decided to go ahead and give the base tag a try (working on the assumption that I could alter the html programatically) and it didn't work either. <base href="file:///android_asset/ContentRoot/" /> If I manually set the src of the img to an absolute URL (e.g., file:///android_asset/ContentRoot/Photos/image.jpg) then it works fine. Am I missing something here?
