Pressure is extremely nebulous on touch screens.  Actually, they don't
really detect it at all -- they detect size, and pressure is generally
related to that.  I don't know what you mean by going wild, though I will
admit I have never looked at the pressure data specifically for the second
finger.  (The Droid screen is different than the G1 / myTouch screen in that
it does report a separate pressure/size for the second finger, instead of
there being only one value for both.)

What does size look like?  Generally I would suggest relying on that much
more than pressure.

As for the number of fingers, the framework doesn't have a limit, but the
screen reports up to 2.  I don't know if this will change in the future.
