Thanks a lot to help me. I will try to understand what you said . Do you mean Android couldn't detect the USB plug-in and mount it automatically until now? Or in other words, the SDK doesn't surport that.
Then how should i understand the "android.intent.action.MEDIA_MOUNTED" ? How to use it and when?If I plug-in the SD-card Android would detect it and notice that? because i try to insert my SD also, and the result is same to the USB. I have no Gphone aside, so i want to know if I insert a SD card into the GPhone and will the system send the Intent "android.intent.action.MEDIA_MOUNTED" ? Thank you again for your reply. ^_^ On 12月12日, 下午4时02分, Lance Nanek <[email protected]> wrote: > Yeah, but if Android doesn't use USB except to act as a USB device > externally and do things like talk to the SD card slot internally, > then expecting an intent to be sent when any USB device is plugged in > might be a bit much. > > A general Linux approach, like listening for the DeviceAdded signal > from D-Bus, rather than something Android specific might be needed. > Although that "on device-added" trigger under the Android Init > Language heading in the platform dev guide looks > interesting:http://pdk.android.com/online-pdk/guide/bring_up.html#androidInitLang... > > It might be better to ask in the android-platform, android-porting, or > android-ndk groups.
