Now with the new multi touch functionality in eclair, is it possible to use weak references in order to target older platforms with the same version? Unfortunately the design of the multi-touch functionality requires new api calls which to me seems like a VERY bad design decision. It makes it harder to use and definitely harder to address several platforms with the same compiled version.
