Guitouille,
I was able to load the html file using AssetManager and the web page
loads as expected, but the image file is still not displayed.
Is this the correct syntax? <img src="test.gif"></img>

I tried the following too:
<img src="file://test.gif"></img>
<img src="file:///test.gif"></img>
..
but nothing worked.
