That is odd? Is it an older version of Android and thus an older API? I am confused as to why an Android device would not do the same thing as other devices? The only thing that would make sense is that there is an older API on the device and the one you're using is newer? If that is the case, you'll have to throw some if() checks in there to handle different versions that your app may be deployed to.
